The ISLAMIC SULTANATE OF BRUNEI DARUSSALAM, which means "state of Brunei, the Abode of Peace", is located at the hub of Southeast Asia, on the northwestern coast of the Island of Borneo along the shores of the South China Sea. IBCs need not pay tax. In order to provide a safe, stable and preferential financial environment to IBCs, Brunei has set up an International Financial Center and practices a dual judicial system, where international legislation and domestic legislation operate in parallel, and final appeal can be submitted to London to facilitate the operation.
